Campaign idea: Zaina is setting up her own home
After surviving years of abuse, Zaina is rebuilding her life and setting up her own safe accommodation.
This story
Zaina survived years of physical and financial abuse from her husband, who left her in debt and forced her abroad. After returning to the UK, she found herself trapped in a house and forced into caring responsibilities before managing to escape. Having secured accommodation, she received a cooker, washing machine and fridge freezer to help furnish her home and rebuild her dignity.
