After 16 isolated years raising children as a military spouse, Yvette now helps other armed forces families access mental health support.
This story
When Yvette married an active service member, she was unprepared for the frequent relocations and isolation of military life. Stationed overseas in Germany and Northern Ireland with three young children, she coped with missed milestones and temporary friendships. Now she works as a mental health navigator ensuring British Army and Royal Air Force families receive emotional wellbeing support.
