Campaign idea: Yumna is singing again
Diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma before she was two, Yumna went silent. Today she is back singing and drawing at school.
This story
Diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma at age one, Yumna underwent chemotherapy, kidney surgery, radiotherapy and immunotherapy at Great Ormond Street Hospital. During treatment she developed severe liver complications and suffered a seizure. Declared cancer-free in 2023, she has returned to school while attending regular hospital check-ups for ongoing hearing and memory issues.
