Winnie has brittle bone disease and has had hundreds of fractures. Her family are adapting their home to keep her safe.
This story
Nine-year-old Winnie lives with severe brittle bone disease and autism, using a wheelchair full-time and having endured twelve operations. Even small movements can cause fractures, and past treatments have not improved her bone strength. Her family are raising funds to create an accessible ground-floor bedroom, wet room, and specialist lifting facilities.
