Will was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease. Now he is tackling four runs leading up to a marathon.
This story
Will was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2025 and with a rare autoimmune condition called IgA nephropathy in September 2026. Though he is a climber who dislikes endurance running, he completed his first half marathon earlier in the year. Now, with the support of his renal team in Bristol, he is training for four spring challenges building from a 10k to a full marathon.
