This story
After finishing her Master's degree, Victoria was unable to return to Nigeria due to violent conflict, having lost her parents and other relatives. Isolated in the UK and dealing with severe mental health struggles, she went three months without speaking to any family. In 2023, she received a free laptop and mobile data through a local digital hub, allowing her to contact relatives, sort her paperwork, and study for a teaching qualification.
