Previous homes left wheelchair user Trudi feeling isolated. Now living independently, she is working towards getting her driving licence.
This story
Trudi struggled to find accommodation that met her needs as a wheelchair user, leaving her isolated before moving to a bungalow in 2009. Since gaining independence, she weaves, plays Boccia and cooks her own meals. She is now preparing to start driving lessons to fulfil her dream of owning a car.
