Campaign idea: Tim and Rosa are running London
Tim and Rosa are running the London Marathon for Rosa's mother Janet, who survived polio as a toddler.
This story
Janet contracted polio at age two, was hospitalised in an iron lung, and was not expected to return home. She regained mobility, later took her first job caring for seals, and continues to live with chronic fatigue along with pain and weakness in her legs. Tim and Rosa are now preparing to run the 2027 London Marathon for the British Polio Fellowship.
