This story
At 11, severe panic attacks stopped Thomas from stepping out the front door on his first day of secondary school. After years of home education without leaving the house much, he returned to alternative learning at 16. With tailored teaching and smaller classes, he passed three GCSEs and rebuilt his confidence to go out and work.
