Campaign idea: Tania gave her children a break
After losing her husband, Tania needed a break to help her two grieving children smile again.
This story
Tania worked night shifts in a care home while caring for her husband and raising two children with learning difficulties. In September 2021, her husband died of a heart attack in front of their children, leaving fourteen-year-old Kaylem and six-year-old Summer deeply traumatised. To give them a chance to reset, the charity supported Tania to take the children on a caravan break to the Isle of Sheppey.
