Campaign idea: Sarah turned fly-tipping spots green
Fed up with fly-tipping in Nottingham, SWAG turned litter-strewn corners into streets filled with flowers and greenery.
This story
In Nottingham, Sarah got fed up with litter and fly-tipping and asked if anyone wanted to take action. Neighbours quickly formed SWAG, running regular litter picks that cleared nearly fifty bags of rubbish for council collection. They have expanded into planting flowers and sowing seeds to transform fly-tipping spots into green spaces.
