Siblings Sophie and James felt motorsport was out of reach, but zooming around Silverstone opened up a new world of possibility.

Siblings Sophie and James both love fast cars and Formula 1, but living with muscular dystrophy made motorsport feel inaccessible. In September 2022, they took part in a driving experience at Silverstone where they were driven around the racetrack in sports cars and James held an authentic championship steering wheel. Within a day of the experience, they booked tickets to watch a classic car race together, and James now views working in motorsport as a genuine possibility.
