Catch up with Jane, Julie, Theresa and Sharon after their trek across Lake District peaks for hospice care.
This story
Hospice staff members Theresa, Julie and Jane took on a mountain walking challenge in the Lake District, joined by Sharon, whose husband had died and who was trekking in his memory. They tackled steep rocky scrambles and difficult peaks in torrential rain and wind so severe that one day had to be cut short for safety. It was the group's second year taking on a major endurance walk to raise funds for the hospice, following a non-stop loop around the Isle of Wight.
