Campaign idea: David, Alan and Michael got cycling
David, Alan and Michael needed a way to settle into a new area. Refurbished bikes gave them transport, life skills and independence.
This story
After moving to a new area, teenagers David, Alan and Michael wanted a way to stay active, explore and get around. Staff connected them with a local bike project in South Shields, which provided three roadworthy refurbished bicycles. They now use the bikes for trips to college and the local park while attending regular maintenance sessions.
