He went from living in a hostel to helping people experiencing homelessness navigate doctors and hospital appointments.
This story
He first connected with Groundswell while living in a hostel and preparing to move on. After training as a volunteer, he began supporting people facing serious health conditions and end-of-life care. Over a decade later, he works alongside nurses and doctors as a care navigator, using his own lived experience of homelessness to build trust and help people access medical treatment.
