This story
After a family incident led to trauma and parental alcohol use, a 16-year-old spent much of her free time caring for her mum and co-parenting three younger siblings. A wellbeing service provided family support and activities for the children, easing the pressure at home. Now able to focus on her own life, she attends youth groups, volunteers, and plans to train as a youth worker.
