Following an unexpected relationship breakdown just before taking early retirement, he lost confidence, struggled to sleep and became isolated. Through Linking Leeds, he set up an action plan to leave the house several times a week and contacted local groups to get involved with. He began attending a weekly men's social event and found the motivation to seek a new role.
