Campaign idea: Steve is running three distance races
Years after hospital staff saved his newborn daughter, Steve is taking on three long-distance races to give back.
This story
In December 2021, nine-day-old Matilda suffered a respiratory arrest and was treated for sepsis and meningitis at Royal Derby Hospital. Staff on the Dolphin Ward cared for her and helped her return home in time for Christmas. Steve is now training for three distance races, finishing with the Edinburgh Marathon, to raise money for the ward.
