This story
After leaving the military, Steve cared for his mother and his young family, but after his mother died and his relationship broke down, he became street homeless. Action Homeless provided him with safe accommodation, where he rebuilt his trust through gardening and playing on their client football team. Using a personalised budget, he bought furniture, a sofa bed for his children, and a bike for his volunteering work as he prepares for a permanent tenancy.
