Campaign idea: Stacia moved far for an apprenticeship
Stacia moved far from home at eighteen for an apprenticeship, balancing full-time work, evening study and caring for family.
This story
At eighteen, Stacia moved from Hertfordshire to Scotland to take up an apprenticeship in Grangemouth. Over four years, she worked full time while studying in the evenings and at weekends and caring for her grandparents. She settled into a role in procurement and became a finalist in national training awards.
