This story
Shirley took over managing appointments, medication and household finances after her husband Brian was diagnosed with early onset dementia and prostate cancer. Caring brought reduced independence and isolation as Brian's mobility declined. After reaching out for support with benefits advice and a parking badge, she found practical relief and regained the confidence to take Brian out again.
