Campaign idea: Sharon took a break by the sea
Years of severe medical emergencies left Sharon and her family exhausted, until a seaside break gave them time to breathe.
This story
Sharon and her husband Ian look after their seven-year-old granddaughter Gracie, who has epilepsy, developmental delays, and a rare cancer condition that Sharon's daughter Jade died from at age 24. After Sharon had a heart attack and Ian survived a stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis, daily life revolved around hospital worries. A holiday to Morecambe gave the family a chance to relax on the beach and build happy memories together.
