Sergio ran all six World Marathon Majors in memory of his daughter Alice, who died, raising more than £17,000 for her foundation. In April 2026, he received the Spirit of the London Marathon Award, giving him a lifetime place in the event. He continues to enter races in the UK and around the world to fund dance opportunities for young people in Alice's name.
