Sarah survived life-threatening domestic violence and rebuilt a safe life for herself and her children.
This story
After surviving severe childhood abuse and losing her mother to suicide, Sarah entered a relationship that turned violent and controlling. An assault left her in hospital with broken ribs and a ruptured spleen, leading social services to intervene and her abuser to be jailed. With support from Solace Women's Aid, she secured a court order protecting her children and accessed therapy to rebuild their family life.
