Campaign idea: Sarah took her story to Parliament

Sarah paid over £20,000 for a UK care job that became exploitation. Now she has rebuilt her life and spoken in Parliament.

This story

Sarah paid an agent more than £20,000 using her father's retirement savings to move from India for a care job in the UK. Instead of steady work, she was given only a few hours a week, lived in damp housing with her family, and was threatened with deportation. After quitting, she received support to improve her living conditions, help her children at school, and find new work sponsorship. She has since spoken to members of parliament to highlight exploitation across the care sector.
