Campaign idea: Samantha is running her first marathon
Samantha started running during lockdown and set out to run her first marathon to support the home caring for her dad.
This story
Samantha took up running during lockdown with Couch to 5K before completing a 10K race in Richmond. With her father living at Hammerson House since December 2023, she signed up for her first marathon to give back to the care home. By the time she was preparing for the race, she had raised nearly £7,000.
