After fleeing Cameroon and sleeping rough in London, Sam learned to code and landed a job as a developer.
This story
Sam fled Cameroon fearing persecution and spent a year sleeping rough on the streets of London with no documents or shelter. After receiving help to start the asylum process, he found work as a cleaner and enrolled in college to study English. A chance encounter at a library introduced him to coding, leading him to graduate and secure his first role as a junior developer.
