Campaign idea: Rose welcomes other refugees
Rose spent months sofa surfing while facing homelessness. Today she has a place of her own and volunteers helping other refugees.
This story
At 65, Rose was refused asylum and told to relocate away from her community, choosing instead to stay in Oxford sofa surfing. She won her legal appeal and secured psychological support, but became homeless during lockdown before finally receiving a room of her own. She now has a permanent home and volunteers on the welcome desk at the charity that helped her.
What your brand could do
Stock the welcome space with warm drinks and comforts so Rose can look after everyone arriving for help.
