At 17 months old, Robyn suffered severe burns from a cup of coffee. After years in pressure garments, she is finally free.
This story
When Robyn was 17 months old, she reached for a cup of coffee and spilled it on her thigh, causing a severe burn that required a skin graft. She spent more than two years wearing tight pressure garments for 23 hours a day to manage the scarring. Robyn recently finished wearing the garments and now manages the scar with daily massage and regular check-ups.
