Campaign idea: Rob builds custom steel bikes
An artist residency sparked Rob's obsession with cycling, turning him into a custom framebuilder creating race-tested steel bikes.
This story
After falling in love with cycling during an artist residency in Berlin, Rob returned to London and began restoring vintage bicycles. Wanting to build his own, he learned steel framebuilding at an academy in Frome and set up his own workshop. His bikes use 3D-printed stainless steel lugs and draw on his experience competing in ultra-distance races across Europe and Kyrgyzstan.
