Richard’s heart stopped on a Cornish beach. RNLI lifeguards brought him back.
This story
Richard collapsed after bodyboarding with his daughters and stopped breathing; RNLI lifeguards used CPR and a defibrillator within minutes. After a triple bypass he returned to work and planned to revisit Newquay, while his daughter trained for the 2026 London Marathon.
