Rebecca had no sight loss symptoms when routine eye tests revealed she had glaucoma.
This story
After years of routine eye tests, follow-up comparison photographs in Sheffield led to a hospital referral. Rebecca was diagnosed with glaucoma in February 2024 despite having noticed no changes to her vision. She now runs wearing sunglasses and a peaked cap, and shares her experience to help newly diagnosed people feel less alone.
