Throat cancer changed how Ray lives, but tending his three allotments and receiving hospice support at home keep him going.
This story
After experiencing difficulties with swallowing, Ray underwent stent surgery and was diagnosed with throat cancer. Adjusting to a liquid diet and accepting help proved challenging after a lifetime of helping others. With support from the hospice community team at home, he continues to draw strength from tending vegetables across his three allotments.
