Campaign idea: Rachel performs poetry on stage
After her husband James died suddenly, Rachel found a way forward through writing and performing at poetry open mics.
This story
Rachel and her husband James had been together for 28 years and were looking forward to the future when he died suddenly in May 2022. To help navigate her grief and the changes in her life, she turned to creativity and began writing her blog, Grief Stories. She now performs at poetry and storytelling open mics, finding comfort in connecting with an audience and sharing stories about James.
