This story
Peter lost his job after taking sick leave for severe back pain caused by split shifts. While receiving Universal Credit, he was connected with a volunteering role helping run an inclusive bike hire project. He now volunteers twenty hours a week assisting cyclists with various health conditions and abilities, which has helped his back recover while he seeks regular work.
