Campaign idea: Pandora is creating a shared garden
After moving from Hong Kong, Pandora turned to gardening to connect with local people and build a shared green space.
This story
After moving to the UK from Hong Kong in 2021, former social worker Pandora began volunteering at a therapeutic garden in Reading to learn about local plants. She arranged gardening classes for other arrivals from Hong Kong and worked with researchers to test growing native crops like pak choi. Her group is now trying to secure abandoned council land to create a shared garden.
