Olivia's twenty-three-year-old cousin Adam lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a condition that wastes muscles away and leaves him relying on support for daily tasks like eating and dressing. Wanting to help fund research and support for families, Olivia decided to mark turning thirty by entering twelve races across 2027. Her list includes five-kilometre runs, half marathons, and a fifty-kilometre race.
