After being caught in gang crossfire and paralysed from the chest down, Natalie fought to return to work and art.
This story
In November 2020, Natalie sustained a spinal cord injury when she was caught in the crossfire between two gangs. A bullet through her neck left her paralysed from the chest down. Supported by mentoring during rehabilitation, she reached her goal of returning to work and continues her practice as a visual artist.
