Campaign idea: Mika is making steady progress
Rescued from an unsafe home without enough milk, tiny foal Mika is now gaining weight and making steady progress.
This story
Filly foal Mika was rescued from an unsafe environment where she was not receiving the milk she needed to grow. At the sanctuary, she is gaining weight on supplementary bottle feeds while vets monitor a heart murmur. She now spends her days exploring the field with another foal and has started gentle handling training.
