Campaign idea: Michelle won top prize with her rap

Looking back on winning an international sustainability contest with her rap song, catch up with Michelle.

This story

Fourteen-year-old Michelle chose to record a rap song instead of writing an essay for a school geography assignment. Her track about eco-anxiety, featuring the sounds of falling trees and protest clips, won the top prize in a global sustainability competition with entries from 81 countries. The education charity continues to run the contest to give young people a platform to explore solutions to environmental challenges.
