Campaign idea: Michael found a home near his family
After a decade in ministry, Michael faced retirement with very low pensions and nowhere local to live.
This story
Having moved from South Africa to join the Church of England, Michael served more than a decade as an ordained minister. Because his service fell short of fifteen years, he did not qualify for church retirement housing and received very low pensions. Grants alongside the benefits system helped him secure housing in Coventry near his family.
