Michael and Joan met when she silenced hecklers while he preached in 1959, and over sixty years later they still face each day together.
This story
After meeting in London in 1959 and marrying that same year, Michael and Joan raised five children and dedicated decades to overseas mission work. In recent years, Michael has been living with dementia, and in August 2023 the couple moved into a retirement community in Bedford. Today, they share a steady routine of daily prayer, exercise sessions, and piano playing.
