Campaign idea: Marina is preparing for her own home
After moving foster homes every year growing up, Marina is finding stability and preparing for a place of her own.
This story
Marina entered foster care at nine years old and moved through nine different placements before turning 18. The instability led to a mental health crisis and a suicide attempt in early adulthood. She now lives in supported accommodation with other young people, working with staff as she prepares to bid for a council home.
