Diagnosed with a brain tumour in Antarctica, Marc returned to naval service and is now taking on Dartmoor.

While deployed to Antarctica in 2011, Marc was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour and flown to Uruguay for emergency surgery. Help for Heroes provided medical escorts back to the UK, accommodation and ongoing counselling, which helped him return to full naval duties before retiring. Now working in Devon, he is taking on a hike across Dartmoor to give back.
