Malcolm collapsed and stopped breathing during a relay race in Glasgow, but bystanders were guided to a nearby boathouse defibrillator that restarted his heart. Just weeks later, Stephen suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while running in the exact same park. Emergency services directed bystanders to the very same device, saving his life as well.
