Campaign idea: Luke returned to university
Deafness and agoraphobia kept Luke isolated at home until hearing dog Lucy gave him the confidence to restart university.
This story
Born profoundly deaf, Luke developed agoraphobia and rarely left home without family, eventually dropping out of university when classes returned in person. After his sister applied for a hearing dog on his behalf, he was partnered with Lucy on his birthday. Lucy alerts him to sounds at home, helps him head outside every day, and gave him the confidence to catch the bus and start a computer gaming degree.
