Campaign idea: Lucy is running the London Marathon
After hospice staff cared for her grandparents in their final days, Lucy is taking on the London Marathon in their memory.
This story
Lucy's grandparents, Eric and Elsie, both died after receiving care from a hospice, including during her grandfather's final days in February 2026. The support allowed him to stay comfortable and peaceful until the end. Lucy is now training to run the 2027 London Marathon in their memory to raise money for the hospice.
