Campaign idea: Lucy landed a backstage apprenticeship
Lucy struggled to find a backstage apprenticeship outside London. Now she is training across technical theatre on major productions.
This story
Lucy discovered an interest in technical theatre during school and went on to help with props and stage management in Peterborough. After leaving sixth form in 2022, she struggled to find an apprenticeship outside London and was losing hope of pursuing the career. She secured an apprenticeship at Curve, where she is training across lighting, sound, automation, and stage management.
