Lucy was 28 and had been married for a year when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, worried about leaving behind her four-year-old daughter. She underwent six months of chemotherapy, a mastectomy with lymph node removal, and 16 rounds of radiotherapy. Having finished her hospital treatment, Lucy is now working through the emotional impact of cancer and rebuilding her life.
