After losing her dad to a brain tumour, Lucy set out to swim 26,000 metres in a single day.
This story
Lucy's dad died in March 2018 from a stage four glioblastoma brain tumour. Having completed a 20,000-metre swim the previous year, she set herself a target to swim 26,000 metres, or 520 lengths of a 50-metre pool, in under twelve hours.
